Nikki took an interest in writing and the arts at a young age. She got an Honours BA at the University of Victoria and moved to Vancouver to pursue her career in advertising. She has a passion for helping people and creating change. She has been working in the advertising industry for the past 15 years creating immersive brand experiences. Using interactive displays and meaningful dialogue to engage and shift minds. She's leveraged this skill to help make the discussion about thoughts tangible and to create activities that help children reduce anxiety.

"I am an auntie to three beautiful nieces. Having spent my life learning to calm my anxiety, I wanted to empower them (and all young kids) with tools to grow up with the confidence to know they are enough. We all can have negative thoughts that creep in, and the goal of this book is to help us dispel those negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones."
The thing about keeping your mind healthy and happy, is it takes practice. Having daily routines, and being self-aware helps keep anxious thoughts at bay.
